Learning Log

Well done to Kiera and Drew for their super learning log homework. We are very proud of them, as we're sure you are, for writing using their phonics! Fantastic work :-)

Kandinsky and Goldsworthy classes have their first learning log homework over half term. They need to write a story about a bear- a teddy bear or a bear they know from a story. They should use their phonics to 'sound chop' the words (please let the children spell the words as they hear them) and write independently.

We can't wait to see their stories, have fun and enjoy half term :-)

Chinese New Year Day

This week we had a day learning about Chinese New Year. We made dragons and snakes (its the year of the snake) and danced a dragon dance.

Road Safety

Today we have been learning about keeping safe when we are out. We found out that traffic lights and zebra crossings are the safest places to cross. We must always hold a grown ups hand and STOP, LOOK and LISTEN!

Stories from Australia

Adam brought some books in to school from his grandad in Australia. We read about a Koala bear- who we know isn't really a bear- and a crocodile!
Thank you Adam for sharing them with us :-)
