Holi - the festival of colour

Today we celebrated the festival of Holi. We learnt about how the festival is also known as the festival of colour.

Holi is a Hindu festival celebrated in India. The festival starts with a bonfire and is followed by the throwing of coloured paint. We spent the day exploring colours and made some different paintings.

Have a look at what we did.

What can you remember about the Holi festival?

  3. Holi is such an amazing festival, I secretly would love to spend a day outside throwing special coloured paint at each other. Although I am not so sure that our Head Teacher would like it!
