Our last day in Kandinsky :-(

It has been a joy to teach the children this year, watching them grow and become confident learners. We hope you all have a fantastic summer and look forward to seeing you in year 1!
Thank you for all the gifts and cards, they are very much appreciated. And finally a big thank you to all the parents for your support this year :-)

We finished the year with fish and chips on the field... Yum yum!

Look what Hollie made at home last night :-). Thank you for bringing it in to show us. What a great piece of art!

African Dancing

Today we learnt an African Dance and used our masks to help us.
What was your favourite part of the dance?
Did you like the music?

Life Cycle

Can you tell me what's happening in the photographs?

Today we watched our butterflies fly away. It has been great to watch them grow.
Can you remember what our butterflies looked like when they first arrived in our classroom?
How have they changed?
Which story have we read which tells us about the life-cycle of a butterfly?

African Mask Making

Today we had another visitor. We had to make an African mask and make sure our pattern was symmetrical.
Can you remember what symmetrical means?
