Bear Caves

We used clay, sticks and leaves to make caves for the bear from our bear hunt. The clay felt very cold and sticky but we had great fun shaping it by rolling it into a ball first and then pulling and pushing it into shape. We pushed a hole with our thumbs to make the entance and somewhere for the bear to sleep. We decorated our caves with leaves and twigs because we thought our bear might be hibernating now it's winter.
Can you remember what hibernate means?

Theatre Trip

We had a fantastic time at the theatre!

Which was your favourite part?

Lewis's Snowman

Look what Lewis brought into class last week! He made it with very little help.
We're very impressed Lewis!
Can you make something for Christmas and bring it in to show us?

What an exciting afternoon!

This afternoon the office received a phone call to say a growling sound had been heard by a neighbour by the trees.  Mrs Stretton thought we would be the best people to investigate.  This is what we did and what we found...

Were you scared or excited to find the bear?
Tell me if you think he was a lonely bear looking for a friend or if he was a scary bear about to eat us!

We're Going on a Bear Hunt

Can you join in with the story? Which is your favourite part? The long wavy grass? Thick oozy mud?
