Blogging Challenge

This week I would like to know what your favourite animal was when we went to the farm. Can you also tell me why he was your favourite. Don't forget your capital letter, phonics, finger spaces and full stops.

Our Fantastic Farm Visit

We were very excited today to go to Brooksby Farm for the lambing. We were very lucky and saw a lamb being born.

Did you stroke the lamb?  How did he feel?

We weighed our ingredients to bake some gingerbread men.
Can you remember the ingredients we used to make the gingerbread men?

We followed the Gingerbread Man's instructions to find where he was hiding!

Maths Day

We have done lots of measuring today.
How many cubes tall is your animal?

What can you use to measure?

Can you make different size gingerbread people?

Which container holds the most sand?  How can you find out?

Can you put the characters in size order, starting with the smallest?

What a busy day!

When we realised the Gingerbread Man had sent us his friends to look after (oops), we decided we should do something to help him. We have made 'Wanted!' posters to help catch the Fox and keep the Gingerbread Man safe.

What would you write on a Wanted poster?

A Present

This week we found a parcel left outside our classroom door. We smelt it before we opened it and  it made us feel very hungry! When we opened the parcel we found 30 gingerbread men. We ate them up and they were yummy :-)
