We have been finding out about bears- we found that there are lots of different types of bears and they live in different places.
We also found out that they like to wake up from hibernation in the spring and like to scratch after their long sleep.

Watch the clip below :-)

Full or Empty?

We have been filling containers with sand, deciding whether they are full, half full or empty.

We also explored which were the best tools to fill the different containers.

Anti-bullying and e-safety Day

Today we thought about the ways we could be a good friend.  We thought about how the bear felt in the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' and what we could have done to make friends with him.

We also learnt how to ask for help when we're using our tablets or laptops, watch the clip below to see what we learnt.

We wish the children good luck in their new classes and  look forward to seeing them grow and develop as they move through the school.  They are all shining examples of 'The Ellistown Way.'
